Olivia: Pig, Diva, Television Star
Nickelodeon has just announced that our favorite picture book pig diva, Olivia, will star in her own 3D CG television show, to be release in the first quarter of 2009.
Brown Bag Films, the company animating the show, has some production stills up on its website and the show looks like it’s going to be worth the wait.
I wasn’t familiar with Brown Bag Films, and discovered some really cool things while browsing their site, including these charming I’m An Animal animated shorts. Our favorite is I’m An Elephant.

I find it interesting, my granddaughter Olyvia has had a passion for pigs since grade school. In fact when she was in grade school she drew a picture of two pigs holding hands. The grade school purchased the picture from her and it still hangs in West School in Sycamore, Il. Olyvia is now a freshman in High School. She has quite a collection of pigs along with her other passions soccer and becoming a Doctor someday.
