Hooked on Blogging

I am now free to tell you that I spent the past year producing a major redesign of Hooked on Phonics Learn to Read, for grades K-2. It was an amazing project to work on, and with it I’ll now be a published author. We took the amazing bones of Learn to Read, a program that’s been working so well for so many years, and updated it with beautifully illustrated books, funny stories, and brand-spankin’-new DVDs. We were happy to have authors the likes of Rosemary Wells, David Ezra Stein, Robert San Souci, Michelle Knudsen, and Carolyn Crimi writing books for the product. I’ll let you know when Learn to Read is available in a couple months.

I’m also happy to tell you that I’m now a contributor to the new Hooked on Phonics blog, which will feature reading activities, literacy issues, and general book love, interspersed with previews of the new products. HOP (get it?) on over there to check out my latest post, Books about Bunnies.
