Hello there! Have you arrived here from the newly launched Scholastic Parents beta website? If so, welcome!
If you know nothing of the Scholastic Parents site of which I speak, it’s a site worth checking out. Of course, I’m 100% biased because I helped with the design and development of the site, and the blog is being syndicated in the News & Blogs section of the site in the amazing company of No Time For Flash Cards, Teach Mama, and Scholastic’s On Our Minds blog.
The Scholastic Parents website is a great resource for information that’s at the intersection of parenting, reading, and learning. There’s lots of great book recommendations, activity ideas, and articles, including some written by yours truly:
- Write to a Writer activity
- More Books at Home Means Greater School Achievement
- The Read-Aloud Handbook (why, yes, I do write about Jim Trelease everywhere I go.)
Keep checking back with the site as they roll out new great features in the months to come.
