Oh, people. I have so much to tell you about Toy Fair, as usual. And, as usual, one of my favorite things of the year is Skylanders. It’s really quite amazing that they’ve been able to keep pace with the fickle toy industry, innovating each year with new games and toys. This year’s addition Swap Force, looks amazing and we can’t wait to get our hands on it. (Check out my GeekMom post on it for more.)
Not only is Activision innovative, but they’re also quite kind. You see, once again, they’ve created a Toy Fair exclusive figure. This year it’s Chop Chop, a series 2 figure compatable with both Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures and Skylanders Giants. Just like last year’s Toy Fair exclusive, Cynder, I’m giving Chop Chop to you. Well, one of you.
There are two ways to enter:
1) Leave a comment on this post. I’ll count your comment as two entries if you write your comment in the form of a Skylanders haiku.
2) “Like” my Facebook page (if you don’t already), and post a comment to my wall. I’ll count your Facebook post as two entries if you tell me what your name would be if you were a Skylander.
Following those rules, you can have a maximum of four entries to win. And though I really, really, really want Chop Chop to go to a kid who will take him out of the packaging and play with him. Enter by 10:00 pm EST on Sunday, February 24, and I’ll announce the winner or Monday, February 25.

I’m not even going to attempt to make a haiku, but my kids would totally play with Chop Chop!
excuse me, but are there any more skylanders to look at. If not I’ll take this prize because I like shiny things.

I wrote you a long comment on Facebook but you asked for one of here as well so I suppose it only appropriate to comment again. I honestly stumbled on your blog by accident so I will not lie and say I’m an avid follower. I am, however; very happy that I did. As you might have read I have recently found out I’m sick and I’m only in my 20′s. It has been surreal and it’s hard to occupy my mind. My boyfriend got me Skylanders and you wouldn’t think it but the game has been a savior. To a ridiculous level- it keeps me enthralled. I spend hours playing, reading about them, researching variants, even just organizing them in my bags- replaying favorite levels. It took this experience and his random chance buying this game to make me realize that of all things- toys were what I needed. I’m glad I found you blog- win or lose Chop Chop
