You Don’t Have to Totally Miss the NYICFF

by Amy Kraft on March 17, 2013

If you’re like me, you had the best intentions to buy up tons of tickets for the New York International Children’s Film Festival . . . and yet work deadlines and a five-day internet outage (ouch) thwarted your chances before the shows started selling out. Fear not! People have alerted me to some of the shorts that can be viewed online in their entirety.

I adore Subway Train, the new video from kids’ musicians, The Pop Ups, which had its debut at the NYICFF. It’s got subways, animals, humor, retro animation, and great music.

I was also delighted by this short, Emmeline, about a girl who’s a little bit different.

(Thanks to Beth and Christina for the tips!)
